Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell was a Scottish artist and a member of the Scottish Colourists group.
Born in 1883 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Cadell showed an early interest in art and at the age of 16, he traveled to Paris and enrolled in the Academie Julian.
